It should be noted that the second gas block of the power plant, with the investment of “Poyaenergy” company, which is a subsidiary of the Mines and Metals Development Investment Company, in the form of 2 gas units of 183 MW and the use of an upgraded E class gas turbine generator with a total capacity of 366 MW and the amount of investment It is 86 million euros. This project is the flagship of the country’s economic driving projects, which is under the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Security and the Ministry of Energy to supply 10,000 megawatts of electricity needed by the country.
