The building of Semnan power plant is located on a land of 100 hectares in the 10th kilometer of Semnan-Damghan road. The height of this building is 1248 meters above sea level. The employer of the project is the Iran Electricity Development Organization, the consultant of Qods Niro Engineering Company and the main contractor of Mapna Company.\r\n<\/span><\/pre>\n<div id=\"tw-target-text-container\" class=\"tw-ta-container F0azHf tw-nfl\" tabindex=\"0\">\n<pre id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwiSgdTM582DAxVAg_0HHWfMBd0Q3ewLegQIBRAP\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">The construction of the power plant was handed over to the contractor in March 2007 and the executive activities started on the site in March of the same year. Semnan gas power plant consists of two gas units with a capacity of 162 MW each and a total of 324 MW and with an efficiency of 33.8% in ISO conditions. The main fuel of the units is natural gas which is supplied by the pipeline. The maximum gas consumption of the power plant will be 100,000 cubic meters per hour if the full load of both units is produced.
